Twin Alternating Water Softener System (Clack WS1EE)
Overview
The Twin Alternating Water Softener System is designed for applications where a continuous supply of soft water is essential. Using a dual-tank configuration with the Clack WS1EE control valve, this system ensures uninterrupted soft water 24/7 by alternating between tanks during regeneration.
One tank remains in service while the other regenerates, eliminating downtime and maintaining consistent water quality at all times.
Each system is preassembled and includes high-quality components, making installation straightforward and reliable for residential or light commercial use.
Key Benefits
- Continuous, uninterrupted soft water supply (24/7)
- Removes hardness and iron (up to 1.5 ppm)

- Improves efficiency of water heaters and appliances
- Reduces scale buildup in plumbing systems
- Fully automatic operation with simple programming
- Water-efficient Clack control valve
- No harsh chemicals required
- Includes gravel underbed for improved filtration and media performance
How It Works
The system uses two resin tanks controlled by the Clack WS1EE twin alternating valve.
- Tank 1 remains in service while Tank 2 is on standby
- Once capacity is reached, the system automatically switches tanks
- The exhausted tank regenerates while the other continues supplying soft water
- This alternating process ensures zero interruption in service
