The AquaMaster AMS900 is a compact, high-efficiency whole-home water softener designed for homes with harder water, higher water usage, or larger families.

With a 36,400-grain maximum capacity, the AMS900 provides powerful hard-water reduction while using significantly less salt and water than many traditional water softeners. Its demand-initiated regeneration system monitors water usage and regenerates only when needed, helping reduce operating costs and unnecessary regeneration cycles.

The AMS900 also includes integrated filtration media and can help reduce ferrous (clear-water) iron, making it a great option for both municipal and well-water applications.

Efficient Operation

The AMS900 is designed around efficiency. Rather than regenerating on a fixed schedule, the metered control system tracks water consumption and regenerates when the softening capacity has been used.

At its efficiency-rated setting, the AMS900 is rated at 5,510 grains of capacity per pound of salt, helping minimize salt consumption while maintaining excellent softening performance.

Built-In Filtration

Unlike a basic water softener, the AMS900 incorporates additional filtration media into the system.

The built-in self-cleaning filtration helps reduce sediment and particulates, while the integrated KDF media provides additional water-treatment performance. The system can also reduce ferrous iron under the appropriate water conditions.
